This adventure is designed to enhance your dive experience, especially for those who are interested in underwater photography or want to capture memorable moments underwater, with coaching to help take better photos

Our goal is to help you snap amazing shots without breaking the bank. Whether you're using a compact camera, GoPro, or even just your phone, you can still capture stunning photos without going pro.

Learn about the ocean differently - through your lens.

What to expect?​

  • This is not a photography workshop or a certification course. It is an experience to enhance your dives. 

  • You will learn to slow down, breathe and observe marine life behaviour that you never would have noticed.

  • Over the course of 9 dives, you’ll dive with your camera and practice taking shots freely, with guidance from an experienced instructor diving alongside.

  • Between dives, you’ll join casual briefing sessions where the instructor will share tips and feedback to help you improve your photos.

  • You will also learn about diving skills to help capture better pictures. 

  • You’ll leave with a collection of beautiful underwater photos to remember your journey!

This special trip invites divers to slow down, be present, and see the underwater world in a new way, spotting beauty you might usually miss.

The highlight of this experience is a dive at the iconic USAT Liberty WWII Wreck in Tulamben, Bali. With easy navigation and depths from 5m to 30m, divers of all levels can enjoy this 120m-long wreck. Covered in colorful coral and home to diverse marine life, it's a great spot for underwater photography against the black sand backdrop.

About your dive guide

Christopher Teoh

​A dive instructor at Bubbles Dive Resort, an eco-friendly getaway focused on marine conservation. He’s passionate about making sure divers are safe, confident, and well-informed so they can enjoy meaningful underwater experiences.

 

With over 13 years of experience in underwater photography, for him it’s all about capturing that perfect moment with just the right composition.

He’s also a firm believer in respectful diving, letting marine life carry on naturally, allowing him to capture them in their most natural and endearing moments.

Who is eligible to participate?

  • Must hold a minimum PADI Open Water certification or equivalent

  • Owns any underwater-compatible camera (this includes phone camera with underwater casing), camera rental can be arranged upon request

  • For those with a medical condition, or think that you may perhaps have one, you will need a doctor’s statement confirming you are medically fit to dive

Where will you be staying?

The resort we'll be staying in Tulamben for three (3) nights is Hi Blue Bali - Melasti Dive Resort, with twin sharing accommodation. The USAT Liberty World War II shipwreck is just 2.6 km away from the resort.

  • Do I need to bring my own dive equipment?
    It's recommended to bring personal diving gear for comfort and familiarity. However, if needed, rental equipment can be provided at additional cost.
  • What is the instructor-to-participant ratio for the experience?
    To ensure personalized attention, we maintain a small instructor-to-participant ratio, usually 1 instructor to 6 participants.
  • Can non-divers join this trip?
    This trip is catered for certified divers focusing on dive skills. If you have non-divers who wants to tag along and doesn't mind the schedule, do contact us to see if it's feasible.
